Truckee Meadows Tomorrow 2005 Platinum Star Award

Promenade on the River was one of this year's recipients of the prestigious Platinum Star Award for significant contributions and leadership in supporting the goals of Truckee Meadows Tomorrow and Quality of Life in our region. The Platinum Star Award was initiated to recognize extraordinary achievements in contributing to the quality of life in our community.

Elsie Conner Award for Senior Community Support

Promenade on the River is proud to be a recipient of the 2005 Elsie Conner Award for Senior Community Support from R.S.V.P. of Washoe County. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is funded by the Corporation of National and Community Service and Nevada Division for Aging Services, and is sponsored by The Sanford Center for Aging. This award is given out each year to recognize an individual, organization or program that truly makes a difference in the lives of seniors.

Gold Nugget "Best in the West" Merit Award

Promenade on the River is the past recipient of the Gold Nugget "Best in the West" Merit Award for architecture and design excellence.  This award is prestigiously recognized by the American Institute of Architects.
