Philip Shapiro's career in senior housing and health care spans 18 years, in communities in the Southeast, New England and Western United States. He served on the Development Task Force of the California Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and is a sought-after speaker at senior housing conferences nationally.

Currently, he is a member of the Governor's Commission on Aging and is a past member of the Reno City Council's Senior Advisory Board and the University of Nevada Sanford Center on Aging Community Advisory Board. He has a B.S. degree in behavioral psychology from the University of Florida and a Masters in Hospital Administration from the University of Missouri.

Phil is responsible for overall strategic planning to ensure that Promenade maintains and exceeds its goal of the highest level of quality and service possible.
